Sometimes it can be difficult for a student to ask questions or request more help in a classroom environment. Once a topic has been covered it is often not revisited until just before an examination and the opportunity to clarify any misunderstandings can be lost. Students do not want to single themselves out by asking questions when they don’t understand, or have made mistakes in homework and this can then be compounded as new work is built on methods that are not fully understood.
This is where bespoke-maths comes in. The lessons are tailored to the individual and questioning is encouraged so the student has a full understanding of what is covered. Exam revision lessons can cover certain topics or a selection of questions, maths ‘top up’ sessions can proceed at the students own pace with ample time for more explanation where necessary.
And of course this happens wherever the student is; no need to drive to a tutor and wait for your child or have a stranger in your home. It all takes place over the Internet using Zoom, wherever you are. A room where there are no other distractions is ideal but a table with room to work at and a computer is all that is needed.
