As a mathematics graduate, I chose to enter a teaching career because of the belief that I could enthuse students with an interest in maths as well as the satisfaction of understanding mathematical principles that they would meet in their lives.  I have been involved in teaching and tutoring for many years, mostly in the UK but more recently from my home in France. After gaining my PGCE qualification I taught for over 20 years in the independent school sector of education, teaching mathematics and Information Technology in schools in Wiltshire and Cambridge. As well as being a classroom mathematics teacher, I have held the post of Head of IT at the school in Wiltshire, school timetabler and as a temporary Head of Mathematics at the school in Cambridge. Since my move to France, I have continued with one-to-one tutoring for top primary and secondary school students in the UK and overseas, both for revision purposes for GCSE and iGCSE and weekly sessions to enhance a student’s  experience of mathematics. All exam material can be covered for 11+, 13+, GCSE and iGCSE as well as Additional maths in preparation for AS and A level studies. Help with ‘A’ level Pure mathematics modules, AS statistics and AS decision maths is also available.

I hold a clear criminal record check from the DBS and from the equivalent department in France.
